Firstly let's use science to set goals that stick !

Unlock Your "Why":

Forget vague "get fit" goals. Science says finding your "why" is key to lasting motivation. Ask yourself "why?": Is it chasing your grandkids on the beach? Feeling confident walking into a room? Having the energy to explore life? Your "why" fuels the fire that keeps you moving. We'll guide you through uncovering your unique reasons for moving, turning them into actionable goals.

Write down your goal and then ask yourself why is this important to you 5 x. Each time dig deeper to uncover your true motivation. You may be surprised by what you find.

Make it SMART:

Vague resolutions are a recipe for disappointment. Research shows SMART goals set you up for success: Specific: "Walk for 30 minutes 3 times a week," not just "be healthier." Measurable: Track your steps or walk a specific route. Achievable: Start small and build gradually. Relevant: Choose goals that matter to you. Time-bound: Set deadlines to stay on track.

Tiny Steps, Giant Leaps:

Forget sprinting towards distant marathons. Studies say "Small Giant Leaps" work wonders! Start with gentle steps, building intensity and confidence at your own pace. Our expert physiotherapists and exercise physiologists will create a personalised plan that respects your time constraints and body's needs. Whether it's mastering a gentle yoga pose, nailing a head stand, standing up on a surf board for the first time or tackling a short walk, we'll celebrate every victory, big or small.

The research is clear: even 10 minutes of regular movement a day boosts energy, combats stress, and reduces pain. At Move, we offer a safe and supportive environment where you can move at your own pace, free from judgment. Join our low-impact pilates classes or work one-on-one with our expert team to build strength and confidence in a nurturing space.

This will include a thorough assessment of your strength and balance, as well as a body composition assessment. So you understand more about your muscle and tissue ratios. At Move we want to help keep you accountable to your goals, we reassess your function after 8 weeks and reassess your goals and plan regulary.
