SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST 


MOVE Sports Physiotherapy & Pilates is seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our growing, values-driven clinic. This is a genuine opportunity to step into leadership, influence clinical care, and help transform the way health care feels.

The Role

Full-time preferred, part-time considered
Well remunerated
Healthy private paying caseload: TMJ, headache, neck, and spinal presentations
Leadership, mentoring, teaching, and clinical strategy input

 

Workload and Structure

Balanced case load ~35 client hours per week
Additional protected time built into the week to:
Lead and mentor junior clinicians
Provide structured supervision and teaching
Contribute to leadership, education, and service development

Leadership and mentoring are resourced and scheduled, not added on top of a full clinical load.

Well remuneration - starting 100,000-110,000 - with potential to earn $140,000inc super with performance-based incentives

You are someone who:

  • Enjoys hands-on musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy

  • Has experience or a strong interest in TMJ, headache, neck, and spinal pain presentations

  • Values education, reflection, and evidence-based practice

  • Wants to mentor and support junior clinicians

  • Is curious, engaged, and ready to step into leadership

  • Wants to help shift and improve how health care is delivered

 

Experience and Qualifications
 

Essential


Australian physiotherapy registration with AHPRA is required
Permanent residency status is required for this position
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
Strong experience managing a musculoskeletal and/or sports caseload
Excellent clinical reasoning and hands-on assessment skills
Confidence working with complex and persistent pain presentations

Desirable

Postgraduate training, such as a Graduate Certificate or a Master's degree
Experience or interest in Clinical Pilates
TMJ experience is desirable but not essential — structured training and mentoring are provided

 

Leadership, Supervision and Development
This role includes paid supervision, mentoring, leadership, and development time.

You will be supported through:

  • Structured supervision and mentoring frameworks

  • Access to external mentors to support leadership growth

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support and develop junior clinicians through structured teaching and mentoring

  • Create and contribute to education programs and courses for junior staff

  • Facilitate in-house teaching, case reviews, and clinical discussion

  • Contribute to clinical strategy, service design, and innovation
