Evidence based strength training for strong bones
Osteoporosis is a severe loss of bone mineral density where bones become weak, brittle, and more likely to fracture. This happens when bone loss is faster than bone formation, leading to porous, fragile bones.
Osteopenia a pre-curser to Osteoporosis - a term used when bone mineral density is lower than what is 'normal', but not yet osteoporotic.

As we age, the rate of bone rebuilding and formation reduces significantly, making the rate of bone-loss faster than bone-building. Treatment recommendations for osteoporosis (especially in the early stages) involve load-bearing exercise and strength & balance training.
Our Bone Builder program focuses on strength training, balance, and bone loading to apply controlled force. This encourages your bones to rebuild and increase density.
Under the guidance of expert exercise physiologists and physiotherapists, your training will be tailored to your body, and your needs - ensuring safe and pain-free movement.
