Physio-Led Strength Rehab

Small group strength rehab training, guided by physiotherapists who understand you.

Have you ever wanted to feel confident and capable in the gym — but found the environment overwhelming, confusing, or even intimidating? You have landed on the right page!

Supervised Trainning - Helping you stay safe & confident

This program is designed for people who want to build strength safely, with professional guidance and a supportive environment.

We particularly support those who are:

  • Neurodivergent (ASD, ADHD)

  • Living with hypermobility or EDS (“bendy”)

  • Experiencing social anxiety

  • Recovering from injury or chronic pain

  • Unsure where to start after bad past gym experiences

At MOVE, we understand that walking into a gym can feel like a big step — we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

How Our Supervised Strength & Rehab Trainning Works :

1:1 Initial Assessment
 

Meet with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to:
 

  • Complete your baseline testing using VALD strength and movement measures

  • Discuss your goals, barriers, and what motivates you

  • Develop a personalised strength program tailored to your body and your lifestyle

  • Coordinate with your healthcare team to keep everyone on the same page

Learn Your Program  1:1 Sessions
 

Over your next three sessions, we’ll teach you your exercises, help you feel confident using equipment, and make sure your form and load are safe and effective. We’ll move at your pace — no pressure, just progress.

Small Group Supervised Rehab
 

Once you’re confident with your program, you’ll transition into our small group sessions (maximum 3 people).
Contact the clinic for the current timetable - new sessions coming out in 2026. 

Here you’ll:

  • Continue training under a physiotherapist's supervision - help progress each movement, provide cues to help you nail it

  • Build strength, fitness, and confidence

  • Stay consistent and accountable in a safe, supportive setting

We recommend attending 2 sessions per week to build momentum and see real results.

Review and Progress (6–8 Week Reassessment)
 

We’ll re-test your VALD measures, review your goals, and celebrate your progress — then adjust your program to keep you moving forward.

Beyond The Clinic

Our goal is to help you feel at home in movement — wherever that takes you.

That may include:

  • Liaising with your community gym or personal trainer

  • Helping you transition to independent gym programs

  • Continuing with ongoing MOVE supervision if you prefer structure and support
     

We’re with you every step of the way.
