Late Notice Policy – Move Sports Physiotherapy & Pilates

At Move, we’re passionate about empowering people to move. To make this possible for everyone, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

This gives our support team time to offer your appointment to someone on our waitlist and allows our practitioners to accommodate others who are ready to come in.

As a further show of commitment to our clients, we send appointment reminders 3 days prior to help you plan ahead and make any necessary changes in time.

Late cancellations (less than 48 hours’ notice) and no-shows may incur a fee. Repeat late changes may also require prepayment to secure future bookings.

We understand that things come up unexpectedly. If that’s the case, call us on 5222 6868—we’ll work to find a solution for you.

Did Not Show (DNA)

• Private Clients: Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will result in a Late Notice Fee of $50 for the first offense. For repeat offenses, the fee will apply without exception, and clients may be required to pay upfront for future appointments.

• Compensable Clients (NDIS, TAC, WorkCover, DVA): Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will result in the full fee being charged to the client’s account. This includes travel time for offsite appointments.

  • Move Sports Physiotherapy & Pilates reserves the right to claim 100% of the agreed fee from an NDIS participant’s plan under the following circumstances:

    • No-Show: The participant does not attend the scheduled support within a reasonable time or is not present at the agreed location when Move Sports Physiotherapy & Pilates is traveling to deliver the support.
