Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Exercise Physiology.

Clinical Highlights

Maddie’s interest in Exercise Physiology originally stemmed from her involvement in competition kayaking (Flatwater Sprint Kayaking and Wild-water Kayaking) and her time training and competing in National and International events.

Maddie grew up in Bendigo where she attended and graduated La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Exercise Physiology in 2019. Since then, Maddie has had experience working in Rehabilitation Consulting and Private Practices in both Bendigo and Geelong. Prior to graduating university, Maddie also gained experience in the fitness industry and coaching while studying, working at a gym as personal trainer, and coaching a squad of junior kayakers for the Bendigo Academy of Sport. Maddie has also completed a Clinical Pilates Instructor course – levels 1-4 in equipment Pilates and level 1-3 in mat-based Pilates.

Maddie is passionate about the benefits of exercise on health, well-being, and performance in sport. Maddie is also passionate about continuous learning to help others achieve their highest quality of life through implementing evidence-based exercise into their life.

Outside of work Maddie enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her golden retriever and husband, Nic, and enjoys movement in many forms including running, hiking, bike riding, pilates, yoga, kayaking and more recently since moving to Geelong, trying to stand up on a surfboard.
